Antiaging Nutrition Guide
Antiaging Nutrition - What to eat to get anti aging benefits!Antiaging nutrition is more simple than you think...
Eat loads of fruits and vegetables! They really help your skin look its best. Did you know they can even make fine lines disappear? But that's if you eat loads of them! All fruits and veggies contain nutrients that give the skin anti aging benefits, but to get fast results, focus on blueberries, tomatoes, watermelon, fresh spinach and nuts. Blueberries are full of antioxidants and prevent aging. Tomatoes and watermelon help the skin to build up a natural UV – protection. Watermelon is also very cleansing and this also has positive effects on the skin. Both fresh spinach and nuts contain vitamin K and healthy fats and will help keep your skin young. Spinach also contains loads of potassium which helps keep the cells healthy. Fish oil and krill oil plays an important role in antiaging nutrition. Both contain omega 3 oil which is very good for the skin and will help your skin stay young. Omega 3 and other virgin oils will nurture your skin from the inside and will relieve dryness. The best source would be a fish oil supplement, because the oil in supplements has been cleaned so there should not be any toxins left. Other virgin oils are also good both to consume and to use externally on your skin, like virgin olive oil and flax seed oil. Be careful when you buy fish oil supplements though. Dr. Mercola says the oil could have gone rancid if there have not been any anti-oxidants added to the supplement. Krill oil has naturally occurring anti-oxidants like vitamin A and E. But just for your information, Dr. Mercola sells krill oil, so it is natural that he will say its better than any other oil. Not that I think he is wrong, but I still wanted to let you know. More on Omega 3 and Anti Aging: There is a new study presented in the Journal of the American Medical Association, where they say omega 3 oils have now been shown to slow down the aging of our cells! A vegetarians alternative to fish oil would be flax seed oil or possibly walnuts, but plant based sources will not give the exact same benefits as fish oil would though. Nutritional therapist Thorbjorn Hafsteinsdottir says foods containing sugar will make us look older than we are. So try to cut out all sugar from your diet - I know this is hard though! But there are also good news! Thorbjorn says we can repair a lot of damage that has already been done due to eating the wrong kinds of foods, by eating more fruits and vegetables! Dryness and fine lines can easily be repaired with the power of fruits and veggies, but not deep wrinkles. Fine lines are also usually more visible if your skin is dry, and for this reason it would be good to eat more omega 3 fats and use

like for example coconut butter as a body lotion. Eating nutritious food is important if we want to stay young as long as possible. Nutritional therapist Thorbjorn says our body is smart enough to give the vital organs the nutrients it needs first before giving the skin its share! So the heart and the brain gets the nutrients it needs first and only then the body gives the remaining nutrients to our skin. This means we need to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables to make sure our skin gets what it needs!
If you feel your skin doesn't look as good as it should, eat lots of fruits and veggies for a while and expect a positive change.
Make sure you also sleep at least 8 hours per night as this is really good for the skin. Knowing which fruits and vegetables are the most nutrient dense is useful. Here is an "antiaging nutrition" food list for you: Apricots

and anti-aging tips: Avoid sugar and avoid salt - use honey or agave syrup instead of sugar and try using fresh lemon juice on your food instead of salt. And don't forget your beauty sleep :) In addition to your antiaging nutrition plan, you could look for a face lotion containing anti aging vitamins. It is always best to buy organic products or why not make your own? But if you want to buy a lotion with an anti-aging effect, look for one that contains Vitamin A. Vitamin A as a topical solution, has been shown to have anti-aging benefits. Some say Vitamin A combined with other vitamins (like Vitamin C and Vitamin K) is most effective.
