Nutrition Facts Labels - Important Terms To Look Out For

Calorie free means there is less than 5 calories per serving in this food.

Low Calorie means there is less than 40 calories per serving in this food.

Fat Free means there is less than 0.5 grams fat in this food.

Low Fat means there is 3 grams of fat or less per serving in this food.

Good Source of something, means this food must contain 10 -19 % of the RDA of this vitamin, mineral, fiber or protein or whatever it was the food was a "good source" of.

Fresh means that the food is uncooked, unfrozen and unprocessed, but here washing and coating (fruits and vegetables) is allowed.
