Ways To Eat Watermelon Some people sprinkle salt and pepper over their watermelon slices, while others just cut it up and eat it without adding anything to it. Here are some different ways to consume and enjoy this wonderful fruit, apart from eating it the healthiest way - just as it is. MELON KEBAB – place scoops of watermelon and honeydew on a skewer, and layer with slices of cheddar cheese and bananas. GRILLED MELON – equally cut round watermelon slices into four parts and grill them for just two mins. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and serve with honey toppings and a squirt of lime. COLD MELON SOUP – swirl watermelon, kiwi and cantaloupe together in a little plain yogurt and serve as a cold coup. SALAD – watermelon and thin onion slices, salt and pepper.
