Tomato Nutrition Facts - The tomato contains health-promoting lycopene and lots of vitamin C...

Interesting tomato facts:

The lycopene in tomatoes can lower you risk for heart disease and stroke.

Lycopene is a phytonutrient but also a red pigment. It has shown to prevent certain types of cancers.

Did you know...?

Men who eat at least 10 tomatoes per day lower their risk of getting prostate cancer by one third!

To help your body absorb the lycopene, have some virgin olive oil with the tomatoes and once in your stomach the oil will pull as much as possible of the lycopene out from the tomato.
