Fruit And Vegetable Recipes

Fruit And Vegetable Recipes - Smoothies, Salads and Soups

Ok... so now when we know fruits and vegetables and so healthy for us, we want to start eating more of them, right? But how? Don't we need recipes? Sure we do :)

It's really good to eat whole fruits and veggies, but if we want to eat entire meals consisting of only fruits or veggies, it's good to have a recipe. When we blend, mix or cut the fruits and vegetables, it is much easier to eat them in bigger quantities. And by mixing some of the tastes and textures together we can achieve really yummy stuff too.

By the way, I just made a healthy dinner for me and my son. A salad and a vegetable soup.

Here are the ingredients I used to make the salad:

- 10 cherry tomatoes cut in halves

- 1 cucumber cut in small pieces

- 1 apple cut in small pieces

- About a handful of fresh dill (which I cut finely)

- About a handful baby spinach leaves

- About 10 finely cut fresh basil leaves

- 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce

That's it :)

I have another page on this site called, Healthy Vegetable Recipes.
