Vitamin Nutrition Supplement - About Vitamins Minerals
There are many vitamins and minerals our body needs to be able to do everything it does every day, every hour, every minute and every second.
The body is kind of like an engine. To be sure it works well, we need to make sure we feed it with the right kind of fuel… or in this case the right kind of food. So we need to make sure the food we eat is high in vitamins and minerals.
If you do your best in eating healthy – eating lots of fruits and vegetables, but still feel you might be lacking in some vitamins minerals, you might want to consider supplementing you diet with a vitamin nutrition supplement.
But you should probably first consult a doctor or nutritionist, just to get a second opinion.
You can also do research yourself on the vitamin or mineral you would like to add to your diet, just to make sure it is not the kind that can be toxic if you take too much of it. Cuz there might already be enough of it in your food, you never know :)

A lot of people do not eat very well, and because of that they have a vitamin or mineral deficiency. You do not want to be one of them, do you? So try to eat loads of fruits each day, for breakfast and as snacks plus a salad with a few nuts on top every day and you will be fine.
Some people might need more vitamins or minerals than others.

Vegetarians for example might need to supplement with B12 and also possibly with an omega 3 oil supplement.
Babies who are not breast fed, might need to take a natural baby vitamin supplement in addition to their formula. Babies who are breast fed will benefit from a few vitamin D drops every day.
Children from 1 -3 years who live in the northern climates, should normally also take a few vitamin D drops every day, year round. This is essential for their bones and normal growth. Vitamin D has even been shown to be good for other things too, like for example flu prevention.
Another thing to think about is if your children have dark skin, like my son, they should take vitamin D year round until they are about 5 years old, because skin with more pigment can not take up the vitamin D as easily as skin without much pigment.
The elderly -
Vitamin D
is also a very important vitamin nutrition supplement for everyone, but even more so for elderly people who spend most of their time indoors. So give your grandma a jar of Vitamin D pills, but make sure they are Vitamin D3 pills and not Vitamin D2, because vitamin D3 is the natural form of Vitamin D and it is much more easily absorbed by our body.
